Exeter, NH – The Physicians of Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics are excited to announce the opening of their brand new Functional Training and Fitness Center at Access Acceleration in Exeter. The 4000 sq ft facility features all new state-of-the-art equipment and is lead by Fitness Director Craig Favara, CPT and the team from Access Acceleration.
According to Director of Sports Medicine Doctor Josh Siegel, “We have always had a vision for a truly functional training facility to complement the rehabilitation services that we offer at Access Sports Medicine. We have had the expertise of outstanding trainers in Craig, Coach Kay, Nicole and Dan, now we have the facility and equipment to match.”
Some highlights of the functional training equipment include a Keiser Triple Trainer, two Water Rowers, a Jacob’s Ladder, brand new cardio equipment, TRX and Versus and a slam wall for medicine ball workouts. The facility also features a 40’ section of field turf for agility drills, a shower and changing room, lockers for clients, TVs and a sound system throughout.
“I wanted to bring in equipment and create an experience unlike any other on the Seacoast. This is not your typical gym and it is not Crossfit. A functional training experience is designed to strengthen and condition the body to maximize athletic potential and prevent injury,” says Fitness Director Craig Favara. “With my experience in Personal Training and Karen Kay’s skills as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, members and clients have access to unmatched expertise regardless of their personal fitness goals.”
Access Acceleration provides a wide range of programs from individualized Personal Training, small group classes like Circuit Training or Adult Fitness Boot Camp, and more advanced sport-specific programs like Flight School and the Fierce Athlete. Acceleration offers individual memberships and corporate discounts for business looking to encourage functional training for employees and to take advantage of the expertise of Craig and his team.
