Access Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is officially making moves to bring a new state-of-the-art outpatient ambulatory surgical center (ASC) to Auburn, New Hampshire! We are pleased to announce that we officially broke ground on this ambulatory center May 12, 2017 with an anticipated opening later this year.
The town of Auburn is located just outside of Manchester, which is the largest city in the Granite State but surprisingly has limited options when it comes to ambulatory facilities. The new center will provide more affordable care and easier access to outpatient services for a large population of New Hampshire residents. Auburn’s welcoming, business-friendly community offers excellent services and is convenient for patients to get to from both Manchester and the Seacoast region.
“Outpatient surgical centers have been shown as having the highest satisfaction rate, lowest infection rate and most cost-effective surgical care anywhere,” said Access Sports Medicine Director, Joshua Siegel, MD. “Our new center will bring these benefits to the Manchester area and give patients in the region a closer option for care.” Also joining the Auburn ASC will be ACG, one of the best anesthesia groups in the state.
The ASC will be a full-time surgical facility, open five days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will be making more announcements as the development of this facility progresses.
