Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics’s Chris Wheeler, PA-C has been invited by the Hampton Firefighters & Fire Officers to speak about injury prevention over the course of four sessions in March 2019. Chris has been working with and educating local firefighters on injury prevention and treatment for more than 5 years.

Chris will present and review information about anatomy, injuries, operative, and non-operative treatment followed by a Q&A to help firefighters understand the musculoskeletal injuries they often triage after a motor vehicle accident (MVA), injury or a fall.
Chris joined the staff as a Physician Assistant at Access Sports Medicine in December 1997. Originally from Western New York, he graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College in 1993 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While at Ithaca he received the professional excellence award from the Department of Exercise of Sports Sciences. He then graduated with honors from Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in 1996 with a Master’s of Medical Science degree.
He is licensed to practice in the State of New Hampshire and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
He lectures and serves as a preceptor for local Physician Assistant programs. He provides clinical, operative, and off-site professional services for Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics.
