Annual Pre-Participation Sports Physical Exam Clinics will be held at all 6 of our Seacoast locations. Clinics will be held on the following dates from 5-7pm:
Tuesday, July 26th in Portsmouth
Thursday, July 28th in Plaistow
Tuesday, August 2nd in Raymond
Thursday, August 4th in Dover
Monday, August 8th in Rochester
Tuesday, August 9th in Exeter
No appointment necessary. All students are welcome. $5 donation. All proceeds to be returned to local schools.
All middle and high school students are required to have a pre-participation physical exam before competing in fall sports. According to the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine’s STOP Sports Injury Campaign, a pre-participation sports physical exam is a necessary first-step toward sports injury prevention in youth athletes. Access Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics offers the sports physicals to area students of all grade levels. The cost of the exam is $5.00 and it will be returned as a donation to many area school’s athletic programs. No appointments are necessary and athletes will be seen on a walk-in basis. *It is important to note that this physical exam should not replace an annual physical or check-up with a pediatrician or primary care physician.
