Exeter, NH – The Physicians of Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics are pleased to announce the addition of A. David Davis, MD to their practice. Dr. Davis is an orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship trained in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Davis graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. He received his Medical Degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston University Medical Center. As part of his Orthopaedic residency Dr. Davis also completed one year of additional study in Orthopaedic basic science at the Orthopaedic Research Laboratory in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston University Medical Center. He was fellowship-trained in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Davis specializes in comprehensive surgery of the Shoulder and Knee, including ligament reconstruction, tendon repair, and fracture care. He has published research articles on shoulder, knee and orthopaedic basic science topics, and has presented scientific papers at national orthopaedic meetings. During his fellowship training, Dr. Davis worked as an assistant Team Physician for the Boston Celtics and for the Tufts University Football and Hockey programs. He is currently involved in orthopaedic research on ACL anatomy and it’s relation to new techniques for the repair of ACL injuries.
