Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics has announced the Sports Physical pre-participation exam clinic dates for 2011. The clinics will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd from 5-7pm at our Portsmouth Office and Monday, August 8th from 5-7pm in our Exeter Office. No appointments are necessary for these sports physical exams. The cost of the exam is a $5 donation and all of the proceeds will be returned to Seacoast area schools athletic programs.
Most schools and youth sports organizations require that each student athlete has an annual sports pre-participation physical exam prior to taking the field. This exam should not replace an annual physical from a primary care physician.
