Now open in Auburn, NH, our ambulatory surgery center (ASC) is conveniently located near Manchester to better serve the area’s large population.
The Auburn ASC is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in a cutting-edge facility that is staffed with some of the best anesthesiologists, nurses, and orthopaedic physicians in the state.
The Auburn Surgery Center surgeons and staff are committed to providing the very best patient care and education of our patients for pre- and post-surgery. The surgery center utilizes a private YouTube Channel with a private link that is emailed to each patient according to their discharge care needs so they have 24/7 video access to all their discharge instructions. Our process can ease the feeling of information overload right after surgery or being overwhelmed. The customized YouTube video will help many patients better understand their post-op instructions, and it is an easy format to share with caregivers who may not be present at the time of discharge.
Additionally, the “Preparing for Surgery” video can be viewed prior to surgery day so the patient is better prepared and informed, leading to decreased anxiety, increased compliance, and increased access to the supplies patients need to have a successful recovery. We recognize our patients learn in different ways and by providing this video format we are attempting to honor the many learning styles of our patients and provide information that is easy to digest and comply with-leading to better outcomes and improved recovery.
The facility is open five days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Orthopaedic outpatient procedures such as tendon and muscle repair, knee arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release and other surgeries can be performed by our physicians. The Auburn Surgery Center is a licensed surgical facility and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).
